Very good food , friendly staff and a lot of fun. Went on a Friday for happy hour, great drink prices. Canned beers $2 and wine $3. Had a live band which was great. Had never been there before but would definitely go back on my next visit to HHI.
Best collard greens on the island. Try'm if you like greens
Meat was tender and the beer was cold but sauce was bland and the service not very good.
My wife and I ordered the nachos app and a rack of ribs for sharing. We chose the brisket covering for the nachos. The nachos were super, much more brisket, beans, and vegies than chips. By end of app we were too full to touch the ribs. We took then home for dinner tonight. Happy hour runs until 7PM. Special pricing on domestic beer, house wine, and bar liquor. Service was very good. Server was very personable. Many specials during week. We'll be back
The food is disgusting and inedible. We highly recommend that you PASS on eating anything there!

The brisket nachos were the best I've had. My son enjoyed the pizza too. We were there right before they closed and did not feel rushed out at all. Our server Liz was great too!
Just an update that even though there is a Big Jim's sign out in front of the General Store advertising free coffee with purchase of a breakfast sandwich or entree... they don't actually give you the free coffee. Was told that they don't offer the special anymore and haven't for a while. 1-star service and overall experience.
This is probably my favorite place on Hilton Head Island. We came here three times during our week here this year. Once for takeout, once for drinks at the bar after a round of golf, and once for dinner. The fish taco appetizer is to die for. The fish is all fresh. We tried the salmon, grouper, and the shrimp and grits. The pizzas are all amazing. As good as in NY or NJ. The pulled pork sandwich and brisket sandwich were great. Generous portion sizes and didn't take too long. We will definitely visit again while golfing.
