Move over Waffle house, Big Bear Dinner is Changing the Breakfast menu to Higher levels. i just ate at my first Black Bear Dinner and Wow you're not leaving this place hungry. Big Eggs, Real Bacon, and Homemade Biscuits. i highly recoiled the new dinner with an upscale interior to match. Seniors you're going to love this place as we do. Happy Trails and we'll see you here, Chris and Sharon

My wife and I have been too many Black Bear diners up and down the West Coast. They have been very good. We are originally from New Jersey, so we miss going to a diner. This is not a New Jersey diner, but It is still a decent diner. Unfortunately this is our first Texas Black Bear diner. it did not really live up to the standards we were used to on the West Coast. First of all, there was no orange juice. I'm not sure I have ever been to a diner that did not have orange juice. My wife ordered grits and they certainly were not... read more

Happy to find Black Bear diner, it was a fav of ours in SoCal. The location was quite busy (25 minute wait) for Sunday brunch, but we were able to get immediate seats at the counter seating. Ambience is family friendly/diner. Nothing fancy! Staff are pleasant and accommodating. The menu was same as we'd had at other locations , but the food was a notch below. Grits were more like a bowl of lumpy water, chicken fried steak wasn't decent enough for hubs to finish it. They were out of orange juice. Best thing I can say about t... read more

I ordered breakfast from the "little less" menu and it was still too much for me to eat. Bacon was awesome. The one biscuit was huge! Service was good too!

Very good food. Ham was thick and tasty, biscuit was high and with gravy was delicious.
