Had to remake burgers 2 times because of being under cook and awful. Then then cook poked his head out with a attitude. Very unprofessional and one of the worst experiences my family has had in a restaurant. Will never be back and will encourage everyone I know to also stay away. Plus didn’t even offer to make a discount on any meal or anything

I asked if lunch was being served and the waitress said everything on the menu is available. She checked to see if the soup was hot and servable, but it was only warm and runny; potatoes could have been done more. When the order arrived, I commented where are the fries?, because there were not many. she said they are proportioned? The burger was good but not hot. I think when the cook put the cold onions, and lettuce on the burger it got cold. They couldn't bring a bloody mary, said I would need to buy that in the casin... read more

Had to request a clean fork because the one I had was not only greasy on the tine end, but had chunks of dried food on the handle and between the tines. My husband's "Max'd Out Coffee", as is advertised on the marquee outside the restaurant, was not only just barely hot, but his mug had someone's lipstick on it. The replacement mug was clean but the coffee again was barely hot. When one pays $2.59 for a cup of tea it would be nice to be offered a second tea bag. Also, it would be nice to have hot water replenished, or ... read more

I just would like to start by saying I have been to a bunch of black bears and loved my experience At all of them except this one! Not only did it take an hour to get our food once we ordered but it came out wrong, cold, and just plain gross! My children’s chicken was totally raw and we had to wait while everyone else tried to eat their horrible meals for an additional 25 minutes for new chicken. One of my kids meals didn’t come out until everyone else was done (she had scrambled eggs) not sure what took an hour and a half f... read more

My husband and I live in Minden, NV. We would like to see a Black Bear Diner there. There is a vacant restaurant spot in the most desirable location- the junction of Highway 88 and 395. There have been two independent diners there during the last 15 years; I think a chain diner like Black Bear would do very well. Has the company considered this?
