I've tried food from the Black Bear diner in 3 different locations in 3 different states (Oregon, Arizona and here in California) so far the one in Bullhead Az has been the best one as far as food we had great service at all locations

Food was great but server was lacking in people skills and training. Our extra food to go was packed or I should say jammened in there paper bag improperly. We had mashed bear claws at the bottom! And by the way my name was not "dud!"

The gravy on chicken fried steak was tasteless and lackluster, so much so that I just tasted the oil it was cooked in. Bread pudding was excellent.

I was very disappointed for my first time, got seated fast, got coffee & had to wait 10 minutes for the creamer, ordered breakfast & country potatoes, potatoes were burnt & I couldn't eat them, my husband ordered hash browns & they were burnt too, I wanted a refill on coffee but server never came until he gave us the bill, so I gave up on a refill. Very disappointed.

The 4 kids wanted chicken strips, we were told ther didnt have anymore. 1 kid didnt eat, 2 had pozza and 1 ordered the hand breaded crispy chicken breast as suggested bu the waitress since it woul be like the chicken strips. My husband ordered a burger well done. Pizza was fine, the chicken was terribl... read more

I think the service could be better, had to ask for the little side items that should have been automatically brought with the food. My food was good though. I don't recommend the potato salad.
