i have mixed feelings about this place. i normally visit the one going up to merced, ca and that one is fantastic. this one? not so much. they called our name - party of 2 1/2, and walked us through the dining area where there were a lot of waiters and waitresses delivering food. they mistakenly thought they had a table ready. we had to go back and find a seat to wait again. once we finally got seated, it took 10 minutes for a waitress to come over and ask for drinks. now, with the service, i’m quite picky because i’ve a... read more

I have been to 3 location's Fullerton, La Harba and the Chino diner.I love their food .I have always had perfect service at all locations. But last night in Chino I was so dissatisfied with my open face Turkey sandwich...it was not fresh and had been microwaved the bread was hard and the potatoes had that microwaved film on them the gravy was dried out on everything... and then the vegetables were so mushy and so overcooked tasted horrible... I told the waiter and they made a new plate to go...My Grandkids enjoyed their food ... read more

I was not impressed with this certain black bear diner theonly other place I had tried was in Tracy Ca.and that certain Dinner was so well ran and coordinated plus the food was great so what I think is happening in Chino is the lack of commitment from management I was very disappointed with the lack of management skills from the so called manager are food wasn't cooked we were not offered compensation in any way so if you read this and are considering eating there I would hold up on that

We had to leave without ordering. They had food in the window getting cold. Our server was MIA and never even came to our table to say hi. I doubt that we'll be back.

We have eaten at several Black Bear Diners in several states. We love the food. Yesterday we were there fairly early 830 to 900 and no real wait and was seated in about 5 to 10 mins even though there were plenty of open seating. Our waitress was great in the beginning but someone else brought our food. My husband had ordered 1/2 order of biscuit and gravy with 2 eggs on top. When the order came he got his biscuits with egg no gravy. Our waitress came back saw no gravy promptly went and got a small bowl of gravy, need... read more
