So yeah. Wanted to take my daughter on a little daddy daughter date night. We end up going to your location. It was at approx 7:30pm on March 22nd 2018. Wasn’t terribly busy but I was expecting to wait. The hostess was nice and seated us in about 10 minutes. We got escorted to our table and sat. The food wasn't bad and the hostess was a very nice young girl and the guy who started our order was good, but our waitress, Paige was horrible. She spent most of the time gossiping with the girls at the table behind us. Our food had been sitting for a while because Paige was too busy ignoring customers. My husband's mashed potatoes were cold. Paige is a terrible waitress and comes off as very lazy and unprofessional. I am a good tipper, but Paige was so awful I left no tip.

This black bear diner location Citrus Heights Sunrise and Madison is by far the worst I’ve ever been to. They are severely under staffed and are rude to you when you mention the excessive wait time to them. The food was great ,but the, service terrible the waiter didn't get get my side right. I ordered a salad and mixed vegetables. When my tri-tip combo order came it had frys. The waiter came a little later and said he would bring out my salad. I said you're suppose to get the salad before you're main course. I never got the salad or mixed, vegetables. I won't be going back to that Black Bear.

I wasn’t impressed. It was freezing outside and freezing inside. The service was mediocre and the food was just okay. Most likely wont return.
