In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. My cousin and I rode out motorcycles towards garden of the Gods and stumbled on Black Bear Diner and so glad we did. We had Krissy as our server and she was amazing and gave us awesome service! She gave us recommendations and they were delightful. Will definitely bring the family here next time we are down in the Springs.
