In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Stopped by with my band mates during our tour and loved it. Great environment with interesting views of the black bear. Not to mention, the food was on point, delicious. To top it off, fantastic service making this a nice stop at home away from home.
Our first time here, we will definitely be coming back! Delicious food and the staff was very friendly. I totally recommend this place :)

Very good food and amazing service. We loved it!! Wish we had some closer to us in Missouri
Just wow! We had a variety of breakfast entrees and they were delicious! My favorite was the cinnamon roll french toast that was perfectly done. Our server was cheery and prompt and the food was delivered hot and fresh. We will definitely be back.

Went here tonight with a friend for the first time! Loved the setting! The Waitress was wonderful and the food was delicious! There was way more food than I could eat so I wound up getting a to go box and also getting a coconut cream pie.....I see Left overs for supper tomorrow!!
