In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. The food was fabulous and the staff was top notch!
This was our first time at this location we usually go the one in Academy and Galley. The food was really good however apparently they have an issue with the a/c coming in right before the heat does. We would be freezing and then after several minutes the heat would come on and we would warm up then a few minutes later it all repeated. That might be something they need to fix.
