Friendly staff, attentive and accommodating. I tried this BBD, for the first time, since moving to the area. My usual spot was the Mo Val location. The experience didn't disappoint. The breakfast here is delicious and satisfying. The portions are sumptuous. My go to, is the three meat combo, I substitute the sausage links, for the hot Italian sausage patty, and I do toast instead of pancakes. Definitely recommend BBD.

We arrived at 3:00pm on a Friday afternoon. It was semi-empty probably five or four tables were filled. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our server was amazing. The menu is unique as it's given in newspaper form. It can be a little intimidating (menu) because there so much to choose from. Ultimately, once we ordered our food was delivered to our table within 15 to 20 minutes. The portions are big and worth the price !! I ordered a chicken avocado sandwich and it was great, warm, and great portions. We ordered two pancakes ... read more

Tried this place since we see it everywhere and they could seat us immediately after calling for a large party on a Sunday. They said usually not a long wait they have plenty space. Food is great like typical diner lots of choices large portions. Get the lemonade its the best. Good for breakfast lunch brunch. People are friendly and restaurant origin story is nice and the charity and support of bears is great . Our new go to place.

Me and my family came to eat dinner last night. The hostess sat us right away. She was real friendly and awesome. We have never been here before and we enjoyed our dinner. Although it took over 30 minutes for our food to come. Our waitress Courtney was amazing. She checked on us and made sure we never had to ask for refills. She asked if we wanted dessert but we were to full. We will definitely be back for desserts and to sit with Courtney for great service.

Went on an early Saturday afternoon. Lobby was empty but inside where you eat was steady with restaurant goers. Service was quick. Server was very friendly and helpful. Food was really good! Typical diner style food. Breakfast served all day. Keep in mind portions are huge! Enough to share with someone or if you are really really hungry! Will definitely want to come back here again soon!

A breakfast date with my grandson before he goes to his Boy Scout Summer Camp in Oregon. We both decided to come here. Got 2 hot chocolates for a starter. It's warm. I've heard so much of their chicken fried steak so I tried for the first time ..... I'm not fan of it , the fried steak tasted like it was fried in old oil .... The country potatoes were not as crispy like before when o order them with my meal . New cook ??! My grandson ordered the breakfast Bear's Choice of ham steak and butter pancakes .. The ham was tend... read more

Located just across the pond from ARMC, Black Bear Diner is an old-fashioned diner that serves family-friendly diner food. I had their steak and eggs and it was delicious to eat. The service here is very hospitable and I enjoyed my visit here. I thoroughly enjoyed the food here for its fair price.

Excellent diner located in Colton just south of the Arrowhead Regional Hospital. It's also located in the same plaza of an Arco gas station. Great place to come for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The times I've gone (on several occasions - including on weekends) there has never been a wait for more than 10-15 minutes. They also have fairly large portions of food. If you're coming for breakfast - they have an awesome and affordable kids menu, which includes delicious stuff like a bear styled pancake. That's a great option fo... read more
