My girlfriend and I had visited for the first time today and our waiter Xochitl had made our experience very well. The food was very good as well and overall a good place to get breakfast, we will be visiting again soon.
Very happy with the food and service! My sister got a chicken fried steak with country potatoes. And I got the eggs Benedict classic with country potatoes. Good portion size! Delicious food! Will come again
It's just ok. I'd passed this restaurant many times, and finally stopped. I walked in today, a Sunday afternoon at 2p and expected there to be a wait. The very indifferent hostess tried to seat me at the counter because "no tables are ready." I told her I didn't mind waiting. Less than a minute later she seated me at a table in a large room with many open tables but in all fairness, there were three parties of 4 seated close by. Got a drink after 10 minutes, took 20 to order, and another 10 minutes to be served. Did get a ... read more
Black Bear Diner was a nice place to have a great home cooked meal. My friend and I enjoyed the cozy feeling and friendly atmosphere. There is a lot of items on the menu to chose from, if you like breakfast for dinner that's on the menu as well. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and the meat was Chicken Fried Steak. If was delicious. I will be going back and recommend Black Bear Diner.
The service was great. The servers the two times I've been to this location are phenomenal. The hostesses are too. The restaurant is clean. The food is exceptional, however... the prices were crazy high the last time I went a few months ago. I ended up paying over $80 for 3 people for breakfast. I just can't go back to a place that's abusive in prices. Other places didn't raise their dishes as much as this place did. I'll never again go back. Not my jam.
Love this diner......I've been to several of them out here on the west coast. Delicious food every time. The portions are HUGE!!!! if you have a small appetite.....there is plenty to share.
We came here for the breakfast and it was very good! I ordered the grizz and the portions were enormous, the food was perfectly prepared and the food was served hot. Our waitress Xochilt was so sweet and gave us excellent service, something that is rare these days. She was so thoughtful she offered us a cup of coffee to take home. It's those little kind gestures that make all the difference. Thank you Xochilt for the wonderful service!
Our Empty Nester group went last night. They were super accommodating for our group of 16. They immediately arranged the tables, giving us ample room. Everyone enjoyed their food and the atmosphere was congenial.
One of my favorite place here in Colton service is great both times nd food is big serving never had breakfast but that willl be next time
