We were in the mood for easy comfort food with some family in town. We were greeted by a friendly host and sat right away. The server came and took our drink order quickly and upon returning with drinks she took our order. The food came out exactly how we ordered, some sauce on the side, etc. and everything was tasted great. Prices are very reasonable, less than $20 for a dinner entree which includes soup/salad, cornbread, veggies and a potato. Come for the chicken fried steak. We have eaten at different Black Bear Diner locations throughout the years, more so when the older kids were little. This is a great breakfast restaurant for the picky kid who likes what the food looks like and it'll the look affects the taste. So the cub pancake face looks very appealing and all I want is for the kids to eat a substantial meal to start the day. Come for the chicken fried steak. We have eaten at different Black Bear Diner locations throughout the years, more so when the older kids were little. This is a great breakfast restaurant for the picky kid who likes what the food looks like and it'll the look affects the taste. This was our first outing to see a friend since Covid started and we're so glad we chose this spot! Scottie was such a great server; very personable and accommodating. He definitely made sure we all had enough food and coffee! We ordered the biscuits and gravy the volcano combo - both were delicious and came in perfect portions. This will be our go-to meeting spot!

Love how this place opens late; especially when I'm craving for breakfast food for late night dinner. Ordered take out here several times and they are quick and efficient. They only messed up my order once but the manager called me to notified me before I even noticed! Super nice. Food is great too!
