Cozy, great service. Chicken fried steak benedict was excellent. Includes generous portion of hash browns and side of fruit.

They have gotten way better since they opened, removed one star for not knowing who the waiters were as every waiter/waitress dressed differently! Food and service was great.

The staff us nice. Easy parking. The chocolate dessert is really REALLY good. Decent prices as well. A good low key dinner place that us not a rushed experience. A good place for us.

Words cannot truly express how great of an establishment Black Bear Diner has been over the years. With excellent quality ranging from friendly staff to delicious food, I always come back to black bear for a cozy meal shared with friends and family. Even with a group of 10+ coming in with no reservation, black bear always seems to make accommodations comfortable for all. And don't get me started on the price for portion size, just truly incredible! Thank you Black Bear for serving the people of the East Bay!

We had breakfast here and it was delicious. The staff were very helpful and courteous.
