Since Covid I have rarely eaten out at our local restaurants preferring instead to cook at home or get occasional take out. Yesterday my husband, son and I decided to have breakfast at Black Bear Diner and had a wonderful experience. The dining area was arranged outside under a tent in the parking lot with tables at a very safe distance. The food was delicious; my son and I ordered the eggs benedict special and my husband had the chicken fried steak. Yum! First time dining at this location since the pandemic. Black Bear Diner offering indoor and outdoor dining (8 - 4 seater tables) under a shaded canopy which makes for a nice dining experience as this area can get hot in the afternoon. Staff friendly, welcoming, efficient and mentioned all staff had training on wiping down tables, chairs , wearing masks and social distancing.
