had such a great time at danville location! Angelo was such an attentive server. never had to ask for a refill at any given time. food was served at a timely matter and super delicious.

Absolutely FANTASTIC here...Breakfast is my thing...the eggs are so so fresh and always cooked to perfection. I was in there at the counter on Thanksgiving morning and I couldn't believe the attitudes of the staff! Thanksgiving MORNING y'all and the cooks were laughing it up - the Manager was excited for a shift end for FOOTBALL...but only until all activities were secured and running smooth...my server - outstanding. I just haven't seen this type of employment display in a while, and it was REFRESHING - kudos to this loc... read more

I'm happy to say that out of town Black Bear Diners are just as good as my local one. I came here for breakfast, and the chicken and waffles was my option. I feel like the picture doesn't give it credit, but the chicken was delicious Service was good, as we had an attentive waiter. The ambiance was family friendly with kids and children checking out the merch area.

Big portions of lackluster food. And not diner prices either. Decor is dated too. I will admit service is excellent and homey.

Good food, huge portions, large menu, kid friendly. You can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches. Their taco salad is huge. Everything on the menu is good and very affordable. It's a great place to take younger kids.
