This is a great Black Bear diner location - quick service, affordable prices, and huge portions. The chicken fried steak is one of our FAVORITE things here and it was big enough for 2 people to share and be completely stuffed. We loved how crispy the hash browns came. We've also tried the chorizo breakfast burrito (sub hash browns for country potatoes) and that was good if you like American-style breakfast burritos. Stopped by Here on our trip up north was a bit tired and hungry but I had the most amazing service by Angelo :) He was very energetic and friendly and super welcoming love that I didn't have to ask for a refill or to get my plates cleared out the way he was on top of it all I ordered the steak food was diner worthy but the service was excellent will stop by again and hopefully get him again before I head back to San Diego CA my hometown thank you Angelo you made my boyfriend and I have a great time

This is only the second time this year I've been able to dine out, so a friend suggested going to Black Bear for a belated celebration. We got there around noon and quickly greeted. We were lead to a booth in the east interior. The west side was busy but not full. We were given menus which includes a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. With some indecision, I asked our server Jessica what some customer favorites are and she mentioned for big appetites, The Grizz. Its loaded with just about every breakfast item... read more

Great place for breakfast, but you should try their Friday dinner because of their Prime Rib special. I also love their clam chowder. It's definitely a must try. Service was impeccable, too
