I had the best tuna melt at Danville location. Crispy but not burnt bread with good amount of tuna salad inside is not watery, not dry.

This is a great Black Bear diner location - quick service, affordable prices, and huge portions. The chicken fried steak is one of our FAVORITE things here and it was big enough for 2 people to share and be completely stuffed. We loved how crispy the hash browns came. We've also tried the chorizo breakfast burrito (sub hash browns for country potatoes) and that was good if you like American-style breakfast burritos. However- I would not recommend the waffle as I took one bite and didn't care for the rest...it was dense and d... read more

Stopped by Here on our trip up north was a bit tired and hungry but I had the most amazing service by Angelo :) He was very energetic and friendly and super welcoming love that I didn't have to ask for a refill or to get my plates cleared out the way he was on top of it all I ordered the steak food was diner worthy but the service was excellent will stop by again and hopefully get him again before I head back to San Diego CA my hometown thank you Angelo you made my boyfriend and I have a great time
