Placed order for pick up at 8:16am on 2/11/24. Picked up food at 8:35am and brought home. Before eating, I noticed mold on the biscuit. Felt disgusted and threw food away. Please check your food when eating here.

I have to say the service food and service was very disappointing. I've been to other Black Bear Diner's and always love the decor and this one was just in the area we so happened to be in. But this one in particular, never again. We got seated pretty fast, that's basically the only positive I have. It took a while for our server to acknowledge, even though there were only about 4 other tables with patrons. The girl answering the phones was such a mess and unprofessional, kept saying what, huh?! And messing up my order, I kept having to repeat myself, I think I was on the phone for 10 minutes placing an order that should've taken a few minutes. I've never had somebody in customer service talk to me like that. When I get there she brings a random bag to me without saying hi or asking my name. I got home, and they forgot some of the items. Didn't even bother calling since I was home and over it. Who is hiring these people?!

Had a very bad experience today with a waitress. With her fake smile and her sarcastic attitude. Waitreses always have a bad attitude, I continue to come here because it's close to home and I do enjoy their food. However, today tops every bad experience I have had. Came here with my sister for brunch, so we asked for some mimosas. The waitress carded both of us. I'm 50 years old, and my sister is 43, we both failed to carry our ID's. Okay... I've read the reviews and STILL gave it a chance! Listen to the reviews people! The food is in fact cold, and their service is not the greatest. I will NOT be returning.

We came in ready to order after being seated and the waitress named NADIA was extremely rude. When we kindly notified her we were ready to order, she told us "okay" and walked away. We didn't even place our order. Then when we were ordering she interrupted us as we stated the dish names and corrected us over it. The Signall Hill location is much better.

Horrible service from the minute you get there. Hostess not friendly at all, in a rush. Our waiter we saw her once and that was it, never came back to check if she e needed anything else.Food was horrible! Only person that was friendly, helpful and professional was the manager, an older man with a blue button down top. Torrance location way better.

We had breakfast with friends. We walked in and the hostess said, how many ? No good morning, no smile. The hostess was seating us right next to the kitchen. There weren't many people there, so we asked to be seated near the window. She was obviously annoyed. Very unprofessional. You could see that she hated her job. When we went to pay, she said to my friend the amount while my friend was looking at desserts. She said let me look at the desserts, and the very rude hostess walked away. They charge you 54 cents for each to-go container. I have never seen another restaurant do this. So greedy.
