Horrible service waited to over 30 min for a server to come to the table and ask what we want to drink and left for another 20 min point being customer service is bad in this place idk how people have patience to wait when they had only 4 tables busy at the time I would understand if they had they whole restaurant full but only 4 tables were occupied so what do they only have one server smh never going back here restrooms are Dirty with toilet paper all over the floor just in general it needed attention they don't have no ty... read more

Don't ever order the Roasted Turkey Dinner, because it's NOT ROASTED at all, it's like slices of turkey deli meat, it's discus ting looking. I sent my order back and waited for my Wife and Granddaughter to finish there meal and we left, I will not go back there unless Emily is working, she always took care of us.

When I arrived at the restaurant in Downey on Florence, I sat down at the counter lady who assisted me had a bad attitude kind of ruined my day a little bit I quickly cancel my order and left won't ever return again ever those people there have no sense of values. All they want is the tip not worth it and they don't care they act like if you owe it to them. I'd give it no stars, but I have to give one to leave my experience.

I visited Black Bear diner last night with my kids who enjoyed their meals from the kids menu. I was torn between the pot roast and the roasted turkey dinner, ultimately choosing the turkey, which is advertised as 8 ounces of turkey breast. While my kids started their meals, I waited a bit longer for mine, which was fine. When my dinner finally arrived, I noticed the turkey looked different than expected. The food isn't bad but the waitresses... my goodness when I tell you you guys need to HIRE BETTER EMPLOYEES... I am not over exaggerating. We *were* regulars here, but after these last 2 or 3 visits, we've really had enough. Multiple occasions where we have waited and waited for someone to bring us a simple item like syrup or juice which should take less than 5 min since it doesn't need to be prepared in the kitchen, and when I try to get an update on the status of my juice or syrup our waitresses are no where to be found...... read more

We ordered breakfast to go because we are having work done in our kitchen and were unable to cook. I have a three year old and one year old who get very hangry :) I placed the order at 8:27 am online and it said it would be ready at 8:46 am. I got there at 8:50 am and the food was not ready. I didn't mind waiting a few more minutes but it ended up being ready at 9:05 am. When they brought me order, the host handed me a bag and two regular cups of milk. One of my friends recommended this restaurant so we met up for lunch. What a horrible experience. There was only one waitress who provided bad service. Her excuse was that she was the only waitress there. She forgot to place 1/2 of the order and brought out a partial order and the food was cold. We could hear her arguing with the kitchen staff that 1/2 the order was missing. That was the start. Then, she forgot to bring the sides out (soup, and corn bread, which she had charged). They partnered with Postmates in an effort deliver food. Black Bear Diner is horrible. I am still trying to get my refund for the order that they never delivered and are posted and Postmates took my money. Postmates tried to call them numerous times and I did as well. They never answered the phone. Please do not participate in any part of this establishment. Their customer service and hospitality is incredibly horrible. I will never order anything nor dine at this location again. Their staff needs to be fired.

We were there Friday night around 4:30pm for dinner, they sat us at a table by the windows. We sat for 10 minutes without anyone acknowledge us, we got no water or any service. We finally left no one even asked if we were ok or wondered why we were leaving. We will not be returning. This is not the first time this has happened
