In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. RecommendedEveryone should try it! The food is wonderful and the staff did such a great job on their first day. They better get used to seeing our faces cause were going to be there a lot! P.s. Don’t forget to try the mac & cheese oh my goodness!

Awesome experience, food was delicious. First day open so a few glitches but were corrected right away. Friendly staff definitely recommend and will be back.

Beautiful restaurant! Food was amazing! We all had breakfast today and it was delicious! They also serve lunch all day and dinner start at 4 pm. Service was exceptional!! Very friendly and attentive staff. Owner was awesome, very friendly. FYI, real ice cream shakes are delicious!!! We will definitely be coming back!!
