RecommendedNot sure how they have an avg of 3.7; stopped on a whim in the middle of a road trip, exhausted (headed home). Everyone we encountered was super fun despite the fact that it was later in the evening, after 9 - 9:30p.m. The food was consistent with other Black Bear Diners, excellent (meatloaf). All wait times were decent, I'd def visit again.
Today was my first day going to a black bear diner and the food was really good for an amazing price, and the service was wonderful. You really feel like family. I also love the layout in the feel of the restaurant such a good place can't wait to return!

Love the Black Bear Diner for breakfast. Fabulous Eggs Benedict. Elk Grove BBD has the most friendly staff, they are always cheerful and so accommodating. It was my Birthday and they gave me a whole small pie! Awesome customer service. Thank you.
The best place around for awesome breakfasts! Excellent coffee, fast and friendly service too. This was the second time we've stopped at a Black Bear Diner while traveling on vacation but it sure won't be the last.�
