I came here with a friend on a Friday afternoon and the diner had a handful of people there. We were seated within a couple of minutes and were given their newspaper menu. Their menu is extensive with plenty of food to choose from. I ordered the chili which came with a cornbread muffin and I ordered an additional cornbread muffin. The muffin and chili came out hot, fresh and flavorful. The butter that came with the muffin was delicious as well. The prices are reasonable and our waiter was friendly, attentive and knowledgeabl... read more
The food was really good. I got the cinnamon French toast and grits. The waiter was very kind and quick despite it being busy. They have awesome brownies too.
Had Sunday brunch with the family on a visit to Fort Worth. We were happy to see the diner because we had enjoyed it in Las Vegas it was my sister in law's first time. She enjoyed it so much, her family has gone back three more times. There was a 45 minute wait but we expected it. Once we got our table the waitress was very attentive. The food was amazing and I loved my mimosa. I wish there was a restaurant in East Texas. This is a perfect family restaurant for breakfast or dinner. But especially breakfast!!
I don't usually eat breakfast but I love breakfast food. So when my friend suggested this spot for dinner, I was thinking we should save this for a special occasion weekend brunch kind of day instead. Little did I know, they serve breakfast all day! The inside was cozy and dineresque with a nature theme. The dining area was pretty large and spacious. The menus are printed on what looks like a newspaper and they include calories count for everything. They even have smaller portions for some of their dishes which is great if y... read more
The food was delicious, and the portions were huge. The restaurant was decorated nicely. Service was quick. This is definitely a diner for tourists, but it's worth going to. I would definitely go back.
My wife and I ate there Saturday for the first time. Although they were very busy it didn't take long to get us seated as our order taken. Our order didn't take long to get to us. It was plenty hot and very good. Service was excellent. I'm glad we happened to be in the area today. Will go back again. Our server Alexa was informative and good.
Huge portions, large variety on the menu and a friendly staff make this an easy choice anytime of the day. The log cabin theme and bear decor makes you feel like you are in the mountains. We can't wait to go back!
I would call the food California country. They don't know how to make grits! The food was well cooked for my selections.
The ambiance was great it reminded me of a lodge I stayed at in Canada. My breakfast was good I enjoyed the scratch made big biscuit . It's about time someone took the time to make them correctly. I was impressed with the level of customer service our server was awesome.
