In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Food is always so good and the waiter staff is friendly and caring . I had ordered the California eggs Benedict and when it arrived it didn't look like what I ordered looked like a omelette but I didn't say anything and after a few bites our waitress ran over and said we are so sorry this wasn't what you ordered and took the plate and brought me the correct order immediately. Their coffee was amazing as well . Restaurant is very clean as well and once someone gets up the tables were cleaned immediately. We will be back !!
The food was plentiful and very good! Waitress was attentive and so polite! Wasn't a big fan of the black coffee, a little bitter. Everything else was tasty! Biscuits were YUIUUGE!
