In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Went last week, both of our dinners came out cold. The waiter was very apologetic and gave us pies to take home. Really hope the kitchen staff gets it together.
Horrible. Staff has no idea what they are doing and hair in food. Waited forever for ranch while I'm watching people just standing around. Manager looks as if shes 16! I know they just opened but really need to get better employees that know what they are doing. That arent sitting around flirting on the line. Its a manager which is worse. Ridiculous.

Had high hopes but many blunders. They took our food to wrong table, the silverware was filthy, they didn't have any of the pudding pie we ordered, the soup was a bowl of flavored water ( no stuff). We may try it again, but just seemed to be average at best. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Food was not correct and overcooked. Staff is very new and needed a lot of reminding for refilling drinks, getting checks, etc.

Very slow service ,food was cold, fries were not cooked all the way. Overall not impressed, kind of felt like we were back at Denny's.
The service was horrible three of us didn’t get our food while the rest of our party ate so their food wouldn’t get cold because the air-conditioner was blowing over our tables
