The food was good and the service was great. Our server, Norma, was very attentive and she was so sweet to my boys. I will definitely be returning
The food and service were good but it is a bit pricey. I have eaten here for breakfast and dinner and they are consistent.
There are so many many items to choose from. We decided to have breakfast for dinner. The portion size is were amazing! The service was wonderful. Very nice.

I love the bear concept and thought it was very adorable. The service was excellent, whenever I had a grievance, the manager Ricardo, especially made sure that I was taken care of. The food was excellent and you could definitely tell it is all freshly made. The service was amazing and definitely would recommend this restaurant. Again management was doing an awesome job!
Everything is BIG in Texas! Especially the breakfast platter here at Black Bear. The pancakes are huge, and the biscuits are massive. They give you more than enough to eat and the portion sizes are enough for two if you have a breakfast date who likes what you like! There were several menu items that I was interested in but because they are in Texas and I live in Virginia. But when I go back....get ready, get ready, get ready!
First time stopping in and Norma was the best ! Will definitely be coming back and hopefully we get Norma
Food was wonderful. We shared Chicken Fried Steak and eggs with a side of hash browns and extra side of grits. Service was fast and friendly. Unfortunately they turned the a/c on as soon as our food arrived on a morning that was 63 degrees outside. We asked the server if it could be turned off and she said no, it was really hot in the restaurant. I'm sure it was for them because they were running around but not for their customers.
