Trinidad is awesome server with awesome customer service. She made everything well and she catered to our table.
I read reviews and was a tad nervous due to a few negative statements. I was VERY MUCH IMPRESSED! Great food, great atmosphere, our Server, Sammy was wonderful. It's like walking into an old town diner with a very clean look. The bears are so cute. I have to say their ranch was way better than I've had in awhile. GREAT VISIT! Will be back. Thank you.
First time here. Got in pretty quick since we opted in for the option to sit outside. Got seated and sat for 30-40 mins with a waitress out here that never came up to our table once to even let us know she wasn't our server. Had to go inside and get ahold of somebody, and thanks to Miss Tee, she came out to save the day and got our orders in since we were all ready and knew what we wanted sitting here so long. It's was ok, it's not really something I would go out of the way for. But that's just me personally. The staff was great.

Had an early dinner here after moving all day. Nice inside with an open floor plan and wood through out. Very friendly staff and attentive to our needs. Had chorizo breakfast burrito, chicken and waffles, and chicken bacon ranch wrap. Food was just what you would expect at a diner. Overall our group was happy with orders, except the chicken bacon wrap had very, very, very little chicken in it. More of a salad wrapped in a tortilla.
I had the club sandwich and fries and loved it. I love the diner feel. And the staff rocks. Will definitely be back.
I've been to several locations in California and finding this Black Bear Diner that is not far from Killeen was a pleasant surprise. The food is basic American breakfast but everyone is friendly and they have Pepsi! The wood and bear themed decorations fill up the restaurant and give it a California vibe, which is the goal and I like it. I'll go back when I want a sit down breakfast.
I love coming here. The food is always great and I have never had an issue with it. The inside of the restaurant is fun to be in with all the bears and quotes. My waitresses and waiters have always been fantastic and attentive. I have eaten here alone and with friends and in all honesty I'm happy they opened this restaurant!!
