The chicken was overcooked the waiter tried to lie and say there was no sausage in the gravy when apparently there was my Ice Tea was too sweet had no ice ask for different Tea he brought me warm tea did not add any ice very disappointed

But wait time is terrible.
If you’re going with a large group be willing to wait! When I say wait we waited for an hour and a half to be seated for eight people!
Terrible service and took 45 minutes to get our food!!

There was no busboys. Women were expected to carry dishes by hand. Made for slow seating. No small childs menu for festive dinner. Took forever to get refills. Not enough staff for the amount of people served. Food did taste good.

If I could leave a zero star, I would. My family and I decided to try Black Bear Diner for the first time, today, Christmas Day. We called ahead to see if we could get on the wait list assuming there would be a fairly lengthy wait. This was our first time going to Black Bear. We were seated relatively fast. The waitress took our order (mix of breakfast and dinner meal). The food arrived. My dinner was missing my salad. It came to the table after I finished my main meal. The breakfast plate was missing toast and hash-browns. It make it hard to eat with things arriving at odd times. The food it self was ok. My family walked in at 9:20 AM. Added us to the waitlist. This is probably the only thing that went right. We were seated about 20 minutes later which is the time frame we expected. We were greeted, gave drink and food order. It is now 10:57 and we walked out. Never received our order. Spoke with a manager to see if we could at least get my daughters 2 eggs and toast.
