So it was my very first experience at Black Bear diner. I was told of how great this restaurant is and how great the food was. I have waited a few weeks after it's official opening because I wanted them to work out their kinks, but it seems like there is still some things to work out. We got sat pretty quick. We were a party of 11, however we go out once a week as a large family. We decided to try this place- was told wait we’d be 25 min & in reality it was 45. Ordered right off bat, after an hour.....yes an hour we questioned what was taking so long. We were told it’s busy. Yes, we understand which is why we didn’t speak up sooner. However, parties who sat after us were already paying their tabs even tho we were still waiting for food. Waitress was nice but didn’t no what to do. Worst Christmas service ever!!! Thanks to you u f my Christmas din din. Slow inside and slow staff even your manager slow. To bust eating pie with the employees up front. I have pics of that and will be sending them in to the lock new staions of your employees eating on the front counter
It's a lovely place inside with a large wait staff. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was supposed to be lightly breaded. It wasn't. It was hot and very greasy. I figured the fries would be ok. They weren't. They were cold and old. I did enjoy the coleslaw. I ordered the peach cobbler. It was peach pie. Overall... Never again!!!

The food was excellent but it took almost an hour the the Chefs to just make us breakfast but it was good 😊
