We have been to Black Bear Diner, Mesquite, Tx 8x since it opened Oct 2022. The food is good, huge. I LOVE THE TACO SALAD! Josh was initially our waiter, I believe he has promoted. He has answers to all our questions about the diner. He has become like family! Secondly, Maria is another waitress who is incredible and attentive and knows the menu! Love our Black Bear Diner. 🐻

We first visited Black Bear Diner last week on a trip we made to Dallas/Mesquite from East Texas. Our waiter was friendly and served us well. Our meals were delish and large portions even tho we chose the "lighter" side. It was such a wonderful experience that the next day on our trip to Dallas for an appt, we once again chose the BBD for our meal. Brunch was delicious! Stuffed Bear Claws Oh My !!! We went early this morning and we had Maria as a waitress and she was GREAT!!!
We have loved Black Bear Diner for over 20 years now. They have great tasting food, fun atmosphere, great and friendly staff, huge servings and descent prices.
I’ve been a few times. Very clean. Staff is always friendly. Good portions are huge!!
Our server Terrell was great! They were extremely busy we had to wait for our food for a little bit but it was amazing, ordered the Tri-tip dip, I could not finish it all. I got their home made coleslaw, WOW it has a unique flavor, in a good way. The atmosphere was great THE decor is just beautiful, reminded me of where I lived in California. even the bathrooms looked cool. Ordered dessert to go and WOW I give the following thumbs up Food 👍 Service 👍 Decor 👍 Dessert 👍 Cleanliness 👍 Over all 5 ⭐ We will be back for sure!
The food was hot, delicious and large servings. I had the chicken fried steak on the lesser menu, and still took half home! The green beans was beautifully seasoned with bacon and onions. Service was impeccable, dining room clean and bright. Music was low enough for conversation. All three of us loved the experience.
