Great place to meet friends and converse! Food was reasonably priced and the service fast and friendly. We had a large group and everyone walked away full and happy!
The food was pretty good and the service was good. Too bad we live in another state. I would recommend!

One of our favorite places to eat.. the sweet cream waffles are soooo good .. they make their breakfast sausage in house and it's large and delicious.. the fried cod is so flaky and the crust is on point .. had the chicken fried steak and potatoes and this will be my goto from now on .. food is always hot and the service is friendly and timely!!! The customer service was absolutely the best. I ordered the California Benedict but asked for no avocado (i'm allergic) but there was still avocado added. Our waitress and what i'm assuming was the manager was so accommodating, took it off our bill and offered something else. Really appreciated the service and the way this was handled.
They have a huge selection to choose from gets a bit overwhelming. Large portions for price and tasty.
Our server was friendly the food runners not so much. The food was great, but it took 40 minutes to get our food after ordering. 7 people working and 5 tables sat and they are just really really slow.
We are very familiar with Black Bear, as we have family in California and BB is abundant there. I was excited to see that they opened one here! We had an overall very good experience. The decor is everything we love about Black Bear. Our server was Leo, he was very kind & attentive. I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes & green beans. Everything was very good. I enjoyed my free Birthday Breakfast yesterday, the sausage was mild and delicious, the eggs were fluffy and cooed to perfection, I can't forget about the sweet cream waffle, very good, but I do wish that the pancakes were a little smaller, then you can enjoy the sweet flavor. Our waitress was very attentive, friendly, and professional. It wasn't crowded, so the atmosphere was nice, I'll go back to eat here again.
