Excellent food. Nuff said. A cut above Original Pancake House. OJ is out of this world. These words are just fillers because a review can't be too short. LOL
My husband and I patronized this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. The decor is interesting, definitely bears and outdoor themed...kinda cute! There's table, booth and bar stools like a diner. Felt cozy and the service was nice along with the music selections. The food was so delicious! I ordered the veggie omelette with potatoes and a side of bacon. We discovered Black Bear Diner on trips to Nevada,California, and Utah. We were overjoyed to finally have one somewhat near us. I chose Black Bear for my birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. The pancakes are big fluffy and yummy. The eggs & bacon are good too. The service is friendly & helpful.
Service was pretty good. The food is one of the only places my little kids will eat on a regular basis. The breakfast is always good;;bacon is usually under cooked though. Overall, it's a good place to go.
The Grizz for breakfast! All delicious, from the thick bacon to the Ham Steak and strip-style hashbrowns. And those pancakes... Server was very pleasant, but the place is understaffed. And undertrained to know we Texan's can't stand an empty Iced Tea glass. Like ever.
Best experience! Greatest food! Great staff! Checked on our table often and kept our drinks full ! The pie is amazing too!
First off I want thank sasha for her service ..... from the moment we were set at our table she appeared up with a warm welcoming smile ...... Now the food was off the chain .... Me and my friend ordered numerous items off of the breakfast side of the menu and all items were amazing .... The cinnamon French toast stole the show .... So moist and full of flavor .... The setting off the restaurant was cute too .... Nice southern feel .... Glad to say we will be returning
Got there Saturday around 9ish and everything outside and inside the restaurant reminded me of my home town in Washington state. They had huckleberry lemonade and it was delicious, the portions were amazing just as well as the service! We wanted to try the bread pudding but they were immediately sold out but the blackberry pie was delicious. I got a waffle, with hash browns and the homemade sausage and omg just perfection. I can't wait to go back there!
Had another great meal here tonight. The salmon with creamy pesto sauce, on a bed of sautéed spinach and cherry tomatoes. The cook(s) here really know what they're doing. Nice clean space, excellent service, ridiculous desserts. Will be back.
