The host was giving off a creepy Igor vibe. The waitress took forever to even ask us for our drink order. The food was frozen, bagged, pre made crap. The bathroom was gross. Both urinals were covered in trash bags and out of order. Better food at Pete’s gas station
The Mexican lady host was extremely rude and shouldn’t be the first interaction you have when you come in. She makes you feel very unwanted and couldn’t care less about your time. She told us 25 minute wait even though there were at least a dozen tables not being used. We waited 30 minutes and then were told that only 2 cooks showed up for work. We frequent the black bear diner in Independence. But since the Olathe location was closest to KU cancer center we went here for my cancer free celebration breakfast. I ordered my usual loaded hash browns and two over easy/medium eggs. Well when it came out the potatoes were barely cooked and definitely not loaded it looked really bad. We were there several months ago. Our daughter had to ask two people for a cup of coffee. The two tables across from us got waited on twice before we did. We asked the hostesses to get our waitress for us so we could order and they did not respond. We walked out after 30 minutes of NO service. We were traveling and our daughter had been to one of your other restaurants in another town. Obviously your chain is not consistent.

We walked in to empty tables everywhere. No one even acknowledged us. We wait 5 minutes for someone to even say anything to us. When the rude girl does say something it is”It will be 30 minutes, do you want to wait or not.” Nope, not with that attitude, and your food cannot be that good! Just never going back! Ironically, we went to Cracker Barrel, 10 minute wait, great service and nice friendly waitress. The food 2 years ago was amazing now it is just mediocre. The service was terrible even though we were the servers only table. Had to ask for refills and Togo boxes.
Service could be faster and more efficient for how slow it was.

We waited an hour . Others who came in after us got their food and when we left they still hadn’t started our order. Waitress said ok babe bye..Have never ever been treated so rude
The service was awful, food was awful and the RACIST BUSBOY chased us out accusing us of not paying for our food then lying about it. Don’t waste your time or money here. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
