Service was slow and lacking to say the least yet nice ppl ... it was 4 pm on a Wednesday not even that busy to be poor service. My friend had to ask multiple ppl for jelly for his biscuit ... crazy

We went to the black bear diner for lunch and the food was really bad. My boyfriend had the streak eggs. The streak was over done and wasn't good and I had the Fiesta scramble it had way many jalapeno and not a enough eggs. My daughter got the pancakes and eggs. The pancakes look burnt. She didn't eat much for it. We will never go back there again

After all the hype and months of anticipation... We dined there on Sunday, the week they opened. I must say the staff was the nicest and friendliest group of people I've seen in a very long time. Ordering, however, was more like a negotiation much too frequently punctuated by "Sorry, we're out of that." (I heard our server apologizing to a table of six for the same thing.) Deserts? There are A LOT of "kinks" to iron out( like any new place), but I think in a few months, it'll be great. Lots of parking and seating. Manager Tasha is stinking AMAZING. Worth the trip to watch this woman work it!

Seven of us went to the new Puyallup location last night at 8 pm, the place was practically empty at the time and we were told it would be 25-35 mins just to be seated!!! Needless to say we walked across the street to the Ram. Never had to wait that long at any California Black Bear restaurants and that was in standing room only waiting areas. Management you better fix whatever the problem is/was.
