I love that miss fear there's a lot of great music on the jukebox and the furniture is really unique as a mountain Yosemite field to it. I got a biscuit and gravy because I love biscuits and gravy and everywhere I go that has it on the menu I wanna try it out and it came with thick sliced bacon and I also got a sweet cream pancake sorry and waffle is unique because in the center instead of a typical beehive kind of squares that had one big square in the center which I guess is to put extra syrup. Carlos, the manager of Black Bear diner is courteous and. kind. I run a non profit BBMS Happy Children Memorial Fund. We asked the manager for a donation and he blessed our non profit with 8 pies! They were a hit as a raffle prize! Thank you Carlos!
Food is amazing ! I ordered the chicken fired steak & Eggs. Absolutely scrumptious. Every bite was extremely delightful as well. Hash brownies cooked to perfection This place is very down to earth & reminds me of our family trips to big bear. The ambiance of this place really takes me out of the day to day routine.
Chicken fried steak hit the spot. Service was great, our waitress Daisy was the only one working and she was very friendly and brought the food out quick. The restaurant was very clean and everything was stocked up on the table. Would highly recommend this location for a quick bite to eat. Thank you Daisy!

Great service from Melina. Delicious hearty breakfast; the breakfast club melt was very good. This was our first time there and we will go back for lunch and dinner. The fresh squeezed OJ was great too!

Simple, straight forward, and yummy. Friendly server who seemed to have a really nice rapport with her co-workers. As cliche as it sounds, during our meal, it felt very homey, like your aunties were chattering away while you enjoyed your breakfast. Would return!
