Good diner food but service was slow. Also my friend got the wrong food (they missed a critical word in his clearly spoken order). He ate it anyway but it bothered him.

Service was not good. Ordered Prime Rib and it was dry, my husband ordered the Salmon and it was also dry. I got a Chocolate Cream Pie to go and it tasted "old" when I ate it about an hour later. We enjoy Black Bear, but won't be back to Sunnyvale. Can't wait for the ones in Colma and Pacifica to open.

Service was terrible! Very slow plus the table was not set. When the waiter finally brought our food we had to ask for silverware and it took him at leadt another 4-5 minutes to bring that so our food was getting cold. We had to ask multiple times for coffe and water. Once the meal was over, after waiting at least 10 minutes we had to ask for the bill only to have to wait another 10 minutes for the waiter to bring it us. Then to top it all off, when we reached the cashier and tried to present our AARP card for our senior d... read more
