The dinners I wanted to order from the menu were not available. Poor excuse of a waiter served me who acted like I was the problem and not the fact that he said the delivery had not arrived is why they were out of food. Also the employees were sitting at the counter jaw jacking about where you can get the best weed. This place is a shit hole.

I was looking for a place for breakfast and drove by this diner. I was wondering why there was only two people inside one of the only diners open at 7 am in this area. Than I saw the breakfast prices, $20-$25 dollars for eggs. I don't understand why this place is priced so hi, it is obviously keeping people away. I am just not willing to pay $20 for a two egg breakfast. Drove into the next spot.

My husband and I went to black bear on Saturday around 2 pm. The restaurant wasn't very busy and we were seated right away and served our drinks. After 15 minutes we asked to see our waiter so we could place our order. We waited another 5 minutes and still no one showed up. We went to the front to pay for our drinks and they wanted to know if we ordered food and where were we sitting. My husband told them and asked 5 more times to pay for the 2 diet cokes. Theis place raves about their biscuits and biscuits with gravy. The most dense biscuits you only need a bite of. Neither the biscuits or gravy have any flavor at all!! I think they need to quit bragging about the rather large thick balls of dough! No stars from me!

Once again, the service is phenomenal I'm sure the food is good, but the people that work there are ridiculous not only was the guy cleaning the kitchen, using Sheila shine wearing his gloves, making my food, grabbing the dishes, putting the food together without changing his gloves handling a ladder, which is disgusting And keep making my food and then they forgot to make my food and I had to wait once again black bear diner is at its worst so I won't be going there again

I ordered a full dinner which was expensive, more than I thought it should cost. But I splurged anyway. It came with a side of either mashed potataoes or loaded baked potato for more money. I chose loaded baked potato. It never made it onto the plate and yet I was charged for it and charged extra for the "loaded." The apple cobbler and the berry cobbler or pie were both very bad . So disappointing. Met sister for breakfast. First the AC was not working on one side of restaurant. We're they were sitting every one. We asked to be moved to the cooler side. Had the California omelette, cheese ,mushroom and avocado. They were skimpy on the avocado. Maybe ordered wrong dish but never again . Kids pizza straight up frozen when served had to send back My burger was cold and i asked for sweet potatoes instead and they taste old and stale so sad

Horrible food, my patty melt was terrible. So as other dishes that we ordered. To me, the cook is inexperienced or didn't understand English. First I was served Tuna melt, the bread was burnt and I sent back to the kitchen. I can hear manager n waiter was telling the cook patty melt is beef .. meat.. awhile later I received and tasteless. I've been to the one in Davis, Ca, and the food was good, that's why I came to this location. Get a new cook. Won't be back.
