This was my second time going. The first time was good but this time I was not impressed. Went there today for lunch and the waitress we had was absolutely awful! Most of the food was good, but the avocado on one meal was mostly black!
learn how to make chickenfried steakand cornbread..you are in Texas
Ordered the biscuits and gravy with country potatoes. The biscuits were stale, hard to tear, tough to chew, and square. There were two pathetic dollops of bland gravy. The potatoes were like bagged, frozen potatoes. They were absolutely soaked in butter with no seasoning or roasting at all. Terrible.
I tried to order the chicken tender family meal, which is 19.99 but when I put it in my cart it said 42.36 I called the store and asked if I could place a order over the phone because I was having difficulties. The lady told me oh no it’s supposed to be 19.99 which I already knew and to try again, I tried again online and it wouldn’t let me because it was 7:35 I am very disappointed. Wish I could have gotten more help over the phone instead of being told to go online once again which at that time I couldn’t order anything.
What can I say? Our first visit to Black Bear Diner couldn't have been any more perfect than it was! To start, our waiter Jeremy, was the BEST! I went with Jeremy's recommendation of the Tri Tip sandwich (think French Dip) but better. I could've drank the au jus sauce out of the bowl! My husband had the chicken fried steak & mashed potatoes, my parents both got t... read more
I had bad service. that is all
Awesome! Great food! Great staff!
Great food, huge portions! Jeremy was a delight, he was not our server but interacted with our table a lot. He made the extra effort to make sure our friends grandson had a great time and even included a surprise gift. Thank You Jeremy!
Omgosh so delicious! Brisket Eggs Benedict was Smokey and full of flavor. It was served with cheesy bacon grits and skillet red potatoes. My husband had sweet cream pancakes with eggs and bacon. We ordered a biscuit with gravy to Take home . Everything was phenomenal and our waitress, Ashley was a knowledgeable and wonderful server! We highly recommend giving it a try! We will be back!
