In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. The cornbread is a size of muffins that you would get at Costco. The food was very good and the portions were very generous We took food home.

Very nice & friendly reception as well as waiter. Yummy food! Even going early (4:15PM) had a bit of a wait, but figure it's because, like us, people are wanting to try something new! We'll definitely go again!

Great food, the service was excellent and I love the atmosphere. We had a great time and will be going back.
Amazing service & food. My cheeseburger was the best burger I have ever had from a restaurant. We can't wait to go back!
