This is the black bear diner ribeye. The pot roast was rubbery. When we voiced our dislike, we really got no answers. Like they were not concerned.

Food was ok, bland. Service started out well, then our waitress forgot basic service industry things. When we mentioned this at check out the cashier got an attitude. The nicest people were the hosts.

My mother and I got the Alaskan salmon and it was probably the worst salmon we ever had. The fish was way overcooked, not seasoned, and would've made a nice hockey puck. Both dishes came with veggies and potatoes that had ZERO seasoning beyond a side of sour cream. Would not recommend.
I ordered chicken fried steak tasted and presented itself as frozen, cream gravy had an odd taste not pleasing. Over priced for what I got. Don’t bother.

When we first got there it took us three times to express we needed seating for four adults and two children. Then our waiter was painfully new and only checked on us every 20 minutes. We waited over an hour for our food (took almost two hours from beginning to end of visit) and when we got it none of us liked our meals. The chicken fried steak tasted like plastic. Super disappointed and will definitely never be back.
Could be more flavor in the food. The chicken and waffles were bland. Sweet tea was WAY too sweet. Coffee was great. Waitress was wonderful. Atmosphere is like its trying to be a lodge but falls short in that area. They seem to have run out of money when the decorating portion began. Tried it with my 26 year old son. We both agree it could be much better. Start with the food and then adjust the decor.... maybe a trip to bass pro for some inspiration could help. Without a doubt one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever visited. Took forever for the waitress to acknowledge us at our table. The food took over 45 minutes to arrive and when it did it was just my wife’s order, I had to wait an additional 5 more minutes for mine. We never saw the waitress again after she took our order, a manager delivered our food on both occasions. We were not charged for our lunch due to the wait, but we won’t be going back as the food was only fair as far as quality.
Food tasted great. Service was very slow. Took forever to get our food. We’d tell our server what we needed and took 10 minutes for her to return! When she did check on us, she asked if it was all good, but before we could answer she was gone! 2 in our party ordered steak. Server returned because they ran out of steak, on a Friday evening at 7pm? Who is doing the ordering? Very open and noisy!
Over cooked salmon burnt chicken cold turkey but the cornbread was good
