Very poor service, no alcohol, burnt and or soggy food. The outside looks like a steakhouse and the inside is reminiscent of a cracker barrel without a giftshop. Very disappointing and we will not be back.

RecommendedI wanted to inform someone of a minor complaint, but can't get anything but a standard survey. Then system brought me here. Whatever. My previous experiences at BBD have been VERY good. HOWEVER, I ordered the Pot Roast dinner (3 of them) to go. There were zero potatoes in one dinner & very sparse (two quarters of a potato) in the other two. Very little gravy. No onion. the all-you-can-eat fish was super fishy which typically means it’s old. some pieces were tough and some pieces were soggy. (both were on the same plate). and it was like i asked for something crazy when i requested more hushpuppies—which weren’t that amazing, so i’m not sure why they were on lockdown. it’s really average food, the wait staff was good, but not great. i’ll likely never go back or recommend it.

I have been to black bear three times now. I figured why not. The first time we went to eat it was right after they opened we had breakfast. It was probably the nastiest breakfast I’ve ever had. We went to dinner with friends one night, the only thing was half way right was my bacon cheese burger I mean really how can you go wrong on that right!? Their were 4 of us there to eat dinner. The waitress was excellent, but our food took for ever which she kept apologizing for. Two of us ordered the fried chicken which was over cooked. I didn’t eat mine and the other person ate one piece. I had a piece of plastic in my vegetables, which the waitress picked it out with her fingers. Not once did the manager come over at all. Took 10% off out bill. We definitely will not be back!!!

I was on line and want too get my family member dinner for they birthday so I did the online thing fill out everything and it did not work so did it again and again they I called and they said you have too come in and fill out info so I did and nothing happend it's like the lost it this was very upsetting for me and the person who was having the birthday and the said they would get a free coffee and bear claw I was in there a couple times so not a very happy camper

RecommendedChicken fried steak was tasteless and cool, a cube of frozen beaded meat, fried. Potato soup was good. Green beans were good. Service okay minus. Can’t recommend it
The food especially the hash browns were not cooked still raw, the whole experience was awful! my waitress got the order wrong after repeating it three times...but she gave me a high five like that would make everything alright? go to village inn its cheaper! I am not paying 35.00 dollars for your lousy breakfast that I can make much better and cheaper at home!!
