Went there with a friend for dinner. Service was fine. Ambience was not great As there were several dirty tables not being cleaned promptly Food not good at all. Hash browns were like shredded paper Omelette was ok not great. Biscuit was huge and very dry

Every time we go past this place, it's packed. We decided to give it a try. The hostess told us it would be a 20-25 minute wait. The waiting area was very small and packed, so we went outside. After 35 minutes, I received a text telling me our table was ready. We were seated and then had to wait quite a bit before someone came by to ask for our drink and food order. We had 2 waiters each visited our table 1 time. I got 1 cup of coffee, no refills, lukewarm food, and the feeling I should be glad I got that. I won't be back.

My family and I went out to eat last night for dinner, 9/22/24. Our waitress Kendra was very polite and helpful. There were 7 of us, 5 adults, two kids. She took the orders quick and got our drinks out to us in a timely fashion. We all got our food after a while, there was a bit of a wait but whatever, it happens. Very disappointed. When we first arrived, no one was working the front area. We waited over 5 minutes for someone to seat us. I finally walked back to the kitchen area to find an employee. She said 'just sit anywhere'. Should have recognized this red flag. After a few minutes a harried waitress took our orders. Our experience did not get any better. The food came out immediately. Didn't hear back from anyone even when management replied they'd send for immediate next level review. Absolutely zero follow up from worst customer experience EVER...don't waste your time or money, whataburger is next door or drive 1 more exit south for cracker barrel. This was our 3rd visit, still hoping that they could turn things around, but sadly, no.. Our first visit was the first week they opened. We were excited to have a diner in Waco and had high hopes. This restaurant is nice and clean atmosphere. But the young man, Ryan who waited on us twice now , is not attentive at all. We ended up walking out Because we couldn't get his attention. The food was cold. My soup had to be reheated in the microwave and then it came back with soggy crackers in it. Then they gave me steak surf and turf and it was not hot. Atmosphere here is bizarre. I felt the food was above average but we were mage to feel uncomfortable and that we were not welcome there and all after a gesture of kindness. I've never felt this unwelcome in a restaurant and I have eaten in East German restaurants during the cold war.
