This location is very good, when a friend wanted to take us out to dinner and told us where we were going, we'd been to the one in St George and we vowed never to eat at a Black Bear Diner again.....we held our breath and went along, because he was so enthusiastic about it. What a 180 !!! This one is new and they know how to cook a meal. Clean, friendly, terrific food, Jade (food server) and restaurant manager (sorry I forgot name) excellent in the customer service area. Enjoyable going there to relax and eat.
One of our favorite places to go. Only drawback is the menu is soooo big. But then so are the portions. And their deserts? The blackberry cobler and ice cream is the best! Breakfast lunch and dinner done right!
My favorite restaurant in the St. George area. All of the food was very good. The service, the building, the furnishing, and everything was very good, and the prices were very reasonable, especially with the discount I got. Highly recommended.
Stopped in mid-roadtrip while my electric vehicle was charging across the street. Super friendly service. Tried the tri-tip dip... YUM!!! One of the very best French dip-style sandwiches I've had in years! The bread is divine and it was toasted, so it added an awesome crunchy texture to the sandwich. And the portion size was huge! We were traveling through on our way to Zion and stopped for dinner, what a great experience!!! We had the Pot Pie, The roast beef, the roasted turkey and the open face turkey sandwich. All four were amazing, oh and the portion size was unbelievable. We definitely will be back next time we are in the area. Highly recommend!!! Sierra was our server and she was a true gem, great service!
We ate at Black Bear today at the Washington Parkway exit in St George for breakfast. We came to this location today for breakfast after a 35 mile bike ride. We special ordered omelets without oil and specific things in it to cut the calories and fat. The manager came out to see if we had food allergies and was so kind. He said safety first always. It was seriously the best omelet I've ever had and the service so outstanding. We will be back for sure and couldn't recommend them enough.
We were immediately greeted and seated. Kendall was very pleasant and was patient while we looked at the menu. I had a sample of the Tuscan bean soup and it was amazing! We ordered and the food was delivered hot and looked good. Everyone was happy and full. I would recommend this place. It is very big and could accommodate large families and parties. Thanks, we will be back!
Can't beat the quality for the location. Right off the interstate with bus and RV parking. If you are traveling this is a great place to stop.
