The man in the front was so unfriendly and disrespectful. Every guest was talking about him that he is Hitler. He was bothering all the guests with unneccesary questions. He stopped my children at 11 pm. He started a conversation about they are not allowed to leave the hotel past 12 and they should be sleeping. Its not his business where my children go. Dear Angela, First of all you booked a room for 5 guests and you brought 7 and due to fire code and insurance liability we could not allow 7 in the room that you booked so we had to give you another room which was given to you at 50 % discount. You created a lot of issues right from the check in with the front desk. The front desk was just trying to inform the kids to make sure to have the keys as the doors are locked. Terrible management. Mistreatment of guests by Bennie the manager.
Lodge is completely fine. No problems with the property or accommodations. The manager however, was the most confrontational and difficult individual I have come across in hospitality. Argued with every single person in line to check in over any number of things while making sure to impose fees on every infraction all while reading you the riot act on how and why he will kick you out.
Business response:
We have reviewed your reservation and you booked a room for only 2 people but you were 5 guests on arrival. This is a concern for the safetly and security of all hotel guests. There was a charge for the 3 extra guests and a room change. The hotel policies are clearly listed when you were booking and the Front Desk reads and reviews those policies upon check-in so that there are no misunderstanding.
The unit was dirty and unkept and the staff unhelpful to the point that we left after the first night for another property.

Unfortunetly, you booked a smaller less expensive room for only 2 people and then showed up with 5 people. The front desk graciously allowed you to pay an upgrade fee to a larger room to accomodate your extra guests. The safety and security of our guests is a priority and these measure were not conducive to the type of hotel stay your wanted.
From the check in to the check out the front desk gentlemen was very rude.
