I contacted Blue Brick financial as they had sent me a form letter soliciting a 3.25 % refinance. I called two days after I received the letter and was told the offer was 3.75%. I indicated the letter said 3.25% and I was told the letters are shipped out without any real knowledge of the true interest rate. I proceeded anyway. I paid the appraisal fee (to be reimbursed upon closing) and signed the paperwork I received. Then I waited a couple of weeks without any response from Blue Brick Financial. 1. If there are disparities between advertised rates and quoted rates, our sales persons explain the reasons... It could be any of the following: * Rates are always advertised on a best scenario situation. Credit score, equity position, dollar amount, etc... * Rates can also vary from one day to the next. 2. My processor has been requesting documentation via email and voice mail at least 4-5 times with no response from the borrower. For this reason I have delayed this response. 3.
