The care staff who have assisted me over the recent period have been excellent. They have been very willing to not only carry out the necessary tasks but have also been supportive in helping me achieve any extra tasks that are important for my emotional well-being and which help me maintain a feeling of autonomy. On the whole management have always responded to my requests and have been accommodating - which I know in times of high staff absence it can be a task to rearrange & find subsitute care workers! Carer is active in cooking fresh food each day & after cooks a spare meal. Does monitor food in freezer but this could be done more often. Keeps a list of requirements for disinfectant etc. General & lively interaction with carer & provides a reasonable level of information about her family. Punctual & conscientious. Keeps up to date with ironing & washing.

It is said that it takes a village to raise a child. But it also takes a village to care for an elderly person, and for us Bluebird Care is that village. After seven or so years, we have no regrets and are extremely fortunate that they were recommended to us at the beginning of our search for help. As mum says, "I'm so lucky that they come to me. Many other people don't get the good help and care that I do!"
