"Fraud" Zero stars! Do not buy a CPO vehicle from this dealership. I have spent the last year trying to get them to right a "Wrong". I love the BMW certified pre-owned program and I was looking to purchase a second CPO from BMW. Steve Thomas had a X3 at a good price so I drove 90 min to check it out. Once I arrived they said it was being worked on (the door panel) and we had to wait. Once it was ready we test drove the car all seemed good except for a few scratch marks and interior marks. I wanted to return at a later date w... read more

They never return your calls. They say they will do something and never follow through. You would think a smaller dealership would want to keep you happy. Just the opposite. I was never treated well.

I have owned many BMW's in my life. I finally reached a point in my life where I could justify the purchase of my dream car. The F10 M5 was the car I wanted. It was perfect for me and my family in my opinion. The recent turn of events that unfolded I would have never expected to happen. I located the car I wanted. A 2013 M5 with a manual transmission listed for sale by Steve Thomas BMW of Camarillo, CA. I spoke with the internet sales manager and told him that I was very picky and was ONLY looking for a car without ANY paint... read more

I purchased a certificated 2011 BMW coupe with only 24k miles from Frank at Steve Thomas BMW about a year ago. While dealing on the car I explained to Frank that I am purchasing a certified car because I did not want a car that had been in an accident. Frank pulled out the Car Fax and it was clean so I purchased it. About a month later I found out the car had been in an accident and had a Car Fax with an accident on it. I immediately contacted Frank and he apologized stating he must have pulled a Car Fax from a similar coupe... read more

We bought 3 cars from Steve Thomas and never had a good service experience. They never had a loaner for us and were actually rude about it as if we were asking for the impossible. We do not live in Camarillo so we needed some way to get to work (in Ventura and Ojai), and we always had to rely on someone to drive us to Camarillo to leave or pick up our car. When we went to buy a 4th car it was obvious that they were not interested in our business, so we went to Bob Smith and have been treated unbelievably well there. We alway... read more

They ordered the wrong car the first time. It took more then three months to get the right car. Dealer could care less. This was our third BMW through Steve Thomas in 5years. This time we picked the car up with only a half a tank of gas. We felt like we were at a Kia dealer. Service department is outdated, If you stay with you car you will not be able to get any work done. They have no Wifi. And bottled water or coffee will cost you $1.50 out of a machine. Take my advice and check out Bom Smith BMW or Rusnak .

No loaners even though if you buy a car from them you are promised to be given a loaner when you service the car. Shuttle service works 7am - 12:30pm. The cars are usually done after 4pm. Service area has a coffee machine - customer has to pay for coffee if he wants a cup. There are two cramped couches in the service area: waiting for your car to be done sitting on those couches will be a pain. On top of the no free coffee, there are no snacks. Service writers behave as if they are doing you a favor taking your car in for se... read more

After I initially made an email inquiry about a used vehicle, Chris promptly called to answer any of my questions and sent a follow up email with the information we had discussed. I never felt pressured into making a purchase and thought I got an honest price quote without any hidden fees. Offered to ship out of state so I wouldn't have to find my own carrier.

I can't really rate them on their repair work since we never made it that far. First of all they don't have loaners... they have a shuttle service. However that service only runs until 12:30, so if your car is ready after that time you have to find your way back to the dealership. After being told that I decided to just wait there. Unlike every other BMW dealership I've been to, Steve Thomas doesn't have a proper waiting area. They just shoved a couch and chair in the gift shop amid the BMW shirts and mugs. Not even a desk o... read more
