Our X3 had developed a rattle in the exhaust system, I also spoke to the service rep about a wire that is protruding from the passenger seat which will eventually cause a hole. The dealer kept the car all dayand fixed NOTHING. When we went to leave we started the car and the rattling in the muffler had not changed. He called 2 other people to look and listen, before the Team Leader decided we needed a new exhaust tail piece. The whole time I described the problems to Mr Akers he nodded his head and told me that the problems ... read more

It's absolutely amazing to me that BMW NA continues to allow this company to maintain a BMW franchise. Kelly Barbour is an absolute joke as a Svc. Mngr. He can't even look you in the eye when talking to you as he knows what utter BS he's spewing because of the company line. It's a shame as this is the 3rd and LAST BMW I will ever own. They could care less about this review or my business, but If I can save one person from doing business with these guys it will be worth it. They had my car for repairs(which included software ... read more

went to pick up my new bmw which I had ordered and waited 4 months for, and they renegged on the deal and made me feel like a common criminal in the process. Sean was the most obnoxious sales manager I have ever dealt with anywhere. I will not step foot back in that dealership and would gladly drive 30 miles out of my way to get the car serviced elsewhere.

Over the past 4 years I have had a couple of dealings with the dealership. First, when I purchase my 2007 BMW Z4(si)(new) their price was beaten by $5k on the pbone by Hendricks in Charlotte. Purchased in Charlotte for $6k below Leith's price in the end. Had Leith perform minor service on the vehicle with no problems. Within the last week I took the car in because it was not running right. They correctly diagnosed that it was the ignition coil, but also diagnosed other problems. 1) Bushings on the lower control arms of the s... read more

I took my 2007 525 I BMW in for regular oil change and notice after I picked it up that there was some fluids dripping from my car. The following week my car computer indicated that my car was over heating. I took it back to Leith Bmw service dept. and they said that the electrical pump on my car had went out. I had no leakage until they service my car. My car warranty had just ran out. This really made me think on how honest this service dept. really is. I called my service advisor 4 times before he finally call me back I e... read more

The sales process is smooth and overall a good experience. However, the good service stopped when I drove the vehicle off the lot. I have had issues with the service department for simple satellite radio installation and protective window treatment. They have given me wrong dates, kept my car for days, no check in or calls to let me know the progress and finally, I have not been offered a loaner car.

Took the car in for Oil service (as part of service they check the brake pads/rotors/sensors) and Emission light came on. When I drove out of the parking lot, at their closing time, immediately the Brake Light came on on the instrument panel. They had closed so I had to take it back on a later day. BMW NA Corp Customer Service said that the problem was probably that the sensor came loose. When I took the car back in Leith BMW service said that the rear brakes (pads/rotors/sensors) all needed to be replaced, even though the V... read more

We purchased our vehicle there in 1988 and have taken it for service there religiously. When the car cut off, it was towed. A hose was replaced., the cost $168!!!. The tow was free with AAA. $34 for hose, $80 diagnostic, $40 labor, $12 shop fee. I called an voiced my concerns and was informed that they have a minimum of $80 no matter what the repair, one spark plug or anything because the vehicle must be put on the computer. They just lost a new vehicle sale to replace this vehicle. I voiced my concern about this excessive c... read more
