We have gone to bond 45 in NYC which we thought was fantastic. After dining here at national harbor we have decided this one is ranked the highest. Their is separate rooms to dine in. A lot cozier but the food was delicious. They do the lasagna dish different than NYC and we loved it.
It was a very enjoyable evening, great food and exceptional service.
My husband and I enjoyed our time spent at Bond 45 for NYE. The waitress was phenomenal! She was knowledgeable, courteous, & attentive (but not annoying). My husband didn't really care for his steak. He didn't think it was worth the money because it was sort of tough and hard to cute with a medium sear. Everything else was top notch. The restaurant even provided complimentary champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, AND cookies for the occasion!
It was New Year's Eve and the place was hopping. We had 2 servers but they were incredibly busy so some things took a bit longer than others to get. We were not in a hurry so it did not bother us. Both servers were very friendly and accommodating. I ordered a glass of Riesling which was listed on the menu and they did not have any Riesling to offer. Bond 45 never disappoints my husband and I. We invited a friend to celebrate New Years Eve a day earlier so we didn't have to rush thru for the next seating. The waiters are fabulous; so attentive w/o hovering over the table. The ambience is very classy. The food, in our case steak, was absolutely delicious!
Food was terrific. We did the proscuitto/mozz app plate and it was wonderful. The filet mignon was the best I have ever had. Although they do not have a kids menu per se, they were more than willing to prepare something for my middle-schooler. Although the little porches provide a sense of intimacy, I think I would have preferred to sit in the main dining room.
Highly recommend---- a dining gem .... park in nearby garage and have only a two minute walk to restaurant. Perfection in every aspect of dining....service and food variety, quality and quantity were outstanding....well worth the $$$$
This was our 2nd visit to Bond 45 in under a year - we live close to 3 hours away & made sure that when returning to National Harbor, Bond 45 was on the top of our list! This visit we celebrated our son's 9th birthday - the restaurant went OVER & BEYOND anything expected!!!! This was all taken just from a mention when making our reservation through Open Table. Food was mostly bland. Nothing to write home about. For the price, I expected more. Waiter didn't tell us about specials. A cookie at the end of the meal was a nice touch.
