The food and the staff were both amazing. I took my husband there for his birthday for dinner and he enjoyed it immensely.
My wife and I visited Bond 45 for the first time in about 2 years. We had previously visited the restaurant in new york city. Everything was just as we remembered, with great food and service. The only negative was that we were seated about 20 minutes late. We arrived around 7:45 for an 8 o'clock reservation, and at about 8:20 I had to go ask how much longer it would be. We had a very good experience in spite of a service glitch. It was restaurant week and quite chaotic. When we were seated we were ignored for a period of time. When the wait staff discovered this they must have told the maitre de because he came over and apologized and then camped us on drinks. The service after that was first-rate as was the food. They made us feel comfortable and relaxed as we dined on very tasty food. We will go back next time we are in town.
Great food...restaurant week...wife and I had hangar steak, chicken pepperoni and desserts of puff pastry and cannoli
From the time we walked into Bond 45, and were warmly and enthusiastically welcomed, we felt pampered and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Although we sat and visited long after we finished our meals, we did not feel rushed to leave. The wait staff was very accomodating and helped to make our evening very special. There was a wide variety of entree, dessert, wine and drink choices, and we were not disappointed. A very enjoyable evening!
The ambience and the food was perfect. Curteous staff and great service. Not best place to take kids but perfect for a romantic dinner.
Best Restaurant at National Harbor by far!!!
This was a welcome change and strong contrast to my previous experiences at the harbor. The service was flat out EXCELLENT, which shocked me because it was Valentine's Day evening. The steak I ordered was superbly cooked to medium well. The atmosphere was great as well! Great job!! Finally, a restaurant at the harbor that's actually worth paying the heightened cost of dining there.
