Great service the food was wonderful we had a great time.
A good choice both for lunch and dinner. I had the osso bucco lamb-shank and it was huge. Ended up taking most of it "to go". We would go back again.
Great for special occasion or intimate dinner. Reservations definitely recommended, the wait time was 2 hours without reservations!!! Even with a reservation we waited about 10 minutes before being seated. If it's crowded, it can be a little confusing about where to check in as you have to make your way from the front door through the crowd at the bar to get to the host. As one who is frequently in New York City on business, it is a real pleasure to welcome a landmark Times Square area restaurant to Metropolitan Washington. As of this writing, BOND 45 New York has sent its A-Team of managers to launch the new restaurant. We had a charming table looking out over the Potomac with excellent food and service. The antipasti choices are delicious Italian standards and one can make a meal on those alone. Steak, pasta and lobster entrees all superb. Warm congratulations to BOND 45 National Harbor.
Over all experience was fine. The waitress we had was less than helpful and it took 30 minutes to get our first drink. The steaks arrived prior to my salad then once that got rectified my steak returned medium well instead of medium rare. All in all the food was very good but the it took 3 hours for dinner so I'd say the service lacked. I will say though that the couple beside us had another gentleman as their waiter, who seemed much more on top of his game and was very knowledgeable and helpful with our wine selection.
I celebrated my 11th wedding anniversary at Bond 45 and couldn't have been more pleased with the overall experience. The food and environment were great. I will certainly be returning and recommending.
The restuarant acts too new. No clear direction when you enter; out of all three items my husband ordered; wine got to the table slowly (the corkscrew even more slowly.) The food was very good, but theoverall service (not the server - she was great) was very disappointing. A large price for a disappointing experience.
Appetizers were delicious. My dinner - had the salmon - was very good, but my wife's fried shrimp were not.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Bond 45. The service and food were good, however we both agree not to the level of the prices. Everything is al a cart. He had a steak and loved it. I went against the review of a previous diner and got the crab steak. It is over seasoned and over priced. I may go back, but not for a full dinner. Probably would stick to happy hour drinks and appetizers or a light fare dinner. We loved the decor and the atmosphere.
