The experience was good in some ways and just OK in others. First off, the manager and staff were excellent and were friendly and took care of us while we waited for them to get our table ready. Thank goodness I made a reservation for dinner! The restaurant was very busy with people from the Harbor. our bartender, Michael, made a special drink for us that was exactly what we wanted! Our maitre 'd was able to provide us with a seat outside on a beautiful day.He did inform us that there was only one server and that it was busy. We assured him that we were here for a leisurely dinner and not in a rush. We had a wonderful meal with a fabulous view and even better company! A perfect evening!
Excellent food and improved bar service. We were a bit leery of their mixed drinks after reading the Washington post review but the plain Daquiri on the rocks my wife had was excellent.
I guess one might say I'm a "Certified Foodie" and as such I guess I'm also a food snob that really wants/needs/demands a great meal when I dine out. And I know what good is! I personally spent 21 years in the upscale restaurant business involved with business development. Professionally I switched to retail development about 10 years ago but I have never lost my passion for a great meal. This place screams NEW YORK. The food was good, but the waitstaff seemed a little confused

Very nice place and very large. With manytables. Some areas are great for private parties for celebrations. Food was good. The specialties were muchbetter rhan other itrmsonthe menu. The appetizer bar is a different and nice twist. Very friendly service!
Overall, we had a solid "good" experience at Bond 45. The antipasto bar is amazing, the filet mignon melted in your mouth and the pasta dishes were very good. There were a couple of things that did annoy us - the red wine was warm (they do not have a chiller); our entree's came out immediately following our appetizer. The waiter was very responsive to our criticisms and they are obviously still working out some of the kinks of a new restaurant. I definitely think its worth another try.
The Antipasti Bar is gorgeous with amazing flavors! There's nothing small or understated about Bond 45. The food is robust. The service is warm and gracious. And the view of the river and pier satisfies that desire to see the water and the action, all at the same time.
