The Bond 45 veal was horrible, the restaurant was too cold as a result the food got cold before you got halfway through the meal
A friend of mine suggested that we go to Bond 45, as it is the best-reviewed restaurant in National Harbor.The food was indeed very good, and the service generally good (although the waiter forgot, not once, but twice, that he had already taken various orders). The wine list is also generally good, with one exception: no dessert wines, either by the glass or the bottle. Considering the overall quality of the restaurant and wine list, this is an oversight.
Bond 45 is a good restaurant at the National Harbor if you want to eat outside. The food was just ..."ok" but the views is great if you eat outside. If you compare the food to "morton's" or "Ruth Chris" is does not stack up.
Excellent impromptu ambience, service was wonderful. Need to work more with interaction with customer, some effort was noted but at other tables and not others. All in all, welcome experience and food excellent.
If you are trying to impress your date and want to spend like a rock star, dine at Bond 45. This restaurant is not for the fugile diner. This upscale restaurant is very impressive and the service is great. My filet mignon one of the best I've ever had, but the sides were not memorable. I thought the garlic mash potatoes were too salty. I also recommend making a reservation. We were escorted right to our table when we arrived, but I did notice some people standing around waiting.
This was my first time dining at Bond 45 National Harbor and both the food and service were great! After you meal they often come by offering freebies such as cookies and a shot of lemonade and whiskey -- gotta love Italian restuarants!
A great place to go for a different atmosphere. Good service and food.
Portions were generous and our server kept us apprised of delivery status. Service was friendly and solicitous w/o being overbearing. With their location right on the waterfront, one would have thought there would be abundant seating with views of the harbor. There were not unless you were sitting outside - in 90+degree heat.
Excellent food and service. The wait staff was especially attentive and very knowledgeable.
