We had a group of 10 and were pleasantly surprised to find that our table was in a private room overlooking the Potomac. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, and I would not say the food was excellent, but was certainly good. I have had better pasta dishes at our local neighborhood Italian restaurant. Two people in our group were having birthdays so we were also very pleased with 2 waiters bringing in a scoop of ice cream with cotton candy on top, and singing...in Italian (and they were good singers too!) All in all, it was ... read more

Beautiful views of the Potomac River, lush interior. Food had fantastic presentations, nice portions. Was not impressed with the placement of the hostess area - it is too far away from the front door, and difficult to find. Was also not impressed with the placement of my table - I felt like I had been assigned to the misfit section (squeezed in between the hostess station and the windows is a small row of tables - and I mean squeezed!).

Dining at Bond 45 was a wonderful experience from the time we entered the restaurant until we left!! The ambiance, semi-private dining section, service and the special mini chocolate chip cookies were all delights. My party enjoyed the Italian steak over Escarole, Beet & Orange Salad and Crab Cake Steak. The meatballs are heavenly too!

Bond 45's first Easter at the National Harbor. What makes this place so special are all their little nooks and cranies so no matter what size group you have, you feel like you have a special spot set aside just for you. It's a great place for a romantic two-some and a super place for a family of eight. The service is always superior and the food....well the food is outstanding. Thank you Bond 45 for making our Easten dinner very special!

We were treated like royalty from the moment we entered. We did indicate it was an anniversary celebration when we made our reservation. Our waiter was completely knowledgeable about every aspect of the menu, and he made terrific recommendations. The food was awesome and the portions generous. We will certainly return because there were so many other wonderful choices.

I guess the owners have to recoup their investment but this is an expensive joint. Our party of five had two courses, we shared one of the less expensive bottles of wine, four had a cocktail to start and we all had an appetizer or Ceasar salad followed by an entree (no dessert). Yet lunch set us back about $450. The lamb chops were excellent as was the Caesar salad but the steaks were pedestrian at best, definitely not worth $46 a piece. That's National Harbor for you.
